Westbelt Bathroom Renovation project shower, sink and mirror

Westbelt Bathroom Renovation

This renovation consisted of a bathroom, an ensuite and a laundry.

In the remodelling of the main bathroom, the owners wanted to replace the old shower-over-bath with two units so a curved unit was installed to still maximise space in the room. Because there was then no room to fit a towel rail, Mark cleverly recessed the unit into the wall.

Everything in the main bathroom was stripped back to the framing and all walls and ceiling insulated, also to help dull the noise of the plumbing.

In the Ensuite, by redesigning the space and using a smaller vanity unit Mark was able to provide a bigger shower space.

In the Laundry, by removing a cupboard from the end wall, the laundry has been placed under the bulkhead to provide maximum space in the room. The clothes dryer has been put up on the wall and the outside ducting placed behind the bulkhead. All the walls have been insulated and relined.

“We loved having Mark Harris renovate our bathrooms and laundry. His high standard of work, coupled with his high-quality sub-contractors made the entire process seamless.”

“Mark is easy to work with and offered solutions when issues arose. All this coupled with on-time completion within budget makes me recommend Mark to anyone contemplating renovations.”
